Kot Addu is the capital city of the Kot Addu District, situated within the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is located approximately 68 kilometers east of Multan and about 20 kilometers from the Taunsa Barrage, positioned just to the east of the Indus River.
The city is subdivided into five Union Councils and has a population exceeding 104,000 residents. Based on its population size, Kot Addu ranks as the 70th most populous city in Pakistan.
