Dinga

Dinga is a city located in the Gujrat District within the Punjab province of Pakistan. Situated between the Jhelum and Chenab rivers, the city is positioned approximately 100 km from the border shared by Pakistan and India. The main highway connecting Lahore to Rawalpindi passes about 23 km northeast of the city.

The name Dinga originated from "Deen Gah," a pronunciation adopted during the British period. According to the 2017 census, the population of the city was 78,422.
