Akora Khattak, also known as Sarai Akora, is a town located in the Jehangira Tehsil of the Nowshera District within Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The settlement is situated adjacent to the Kabul River, which flows into the Indus River approximately 15 kilometres downstream.
The town is positioned between two notable neighboring areas: Nowshera Cantonment to the west and the city of Nowshera to the east.
