Panjgur is a town located in the southwestern region of Balochistan, Pakistan. It serves as the administrative center for its eponymous tehsil and district. The settlement is situated at an elevation of 980 metres above sea level along the banks of the Rakshan River.
Historically, medieval Arabic sources refer to the location by the transliterated names Bannajbur or Fannazbur. Today, it remains a recognized geographical and administrative point within the Balochistan province.
