Gandavah is a town located in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. It serves as the administrative headquarters for the Jhal Magsi District and is situated on a small hill within the Kach Gandava plain. The town is characterized by its diverse demographic makeup, housing a mix of Sindhi, Baloch, Pathan, Brahui, and Hindu communities.
The area possesses a long history and features several old architectural monuments, most notably the Moti Gohram tomb, which is locally referred to as "the Taj Mahal of Baluchistan." Despite its historical significance, the town faces ongoing challenges regarding essential infrastructure, including needs for water, electricity, gas, healthcare, and education. As of 2023, the population of Gandava reached 24,130 residents across 1,256 households.
