Quezon City, also known as the City of Quezon or Q.C., is the most populous city in the Philippines. According to the 2024 census, the city has a population of 3,084,270 people.
Founded on October 12, 1939, the city was named in honor of Manuel L. Quezon, who served as the second president of the Philippines. Historically, Quezon City served as the capital of the Philippines from 1948 until the designation was returned to Manila in 1976.
