Batangas, officially known as the Province of Batangas, is a first-class province located in the southwestern part of Luzon in the Calabarzon region of the Philippines. It is bordered by the provinces of Cavite and Laguna to the north and Quezon to the east. To its south lies the island of Mindoro across the Verde Island Passages, while the South China Sea borders the province to the west.

The city of Batangas serves as the provincial capital. According to the 2024 census, the province has a population of 2,994,795, making it the seventh most populous province in the country. Historically, the region is often referred to by its ancient name, Kumintáng.
