Lawaan is a municipality located in the province of Eastern Samar in the Philippines. According to the 2024 census, the municipality has a population of 13,063 people.
The area is notable for being home to the Bolusao Watershed Forest Reserve, which is primarily situated within Barangay Bolusao.
