Dingle is a town located on the Atlantic coast of County Kerry in the southwest of Ireland. It serves as the only town situated on the Dingle Peninsula, positioned approximately 50 kilometres (30 mi) southwest of Tralee and 71 kilometres (40 mi) northwest of Killarney.

The local economy is primarily driven by tourism, fishing, and agriculture. The town hosts the Dingle Mart, a livestock market that serves the surrounding rural countryside. Additionally, Dingle Bay was notable for hosting an adult Bottlenose dolphin named Fungie, who sought human contact from 1983 until its disappearance in 2020.
