Bacolod, officially known as the City of Bacolod, is a highly urbanized city located in the Negros Island Region of the Philippines. It serves as a major urban center within the region and is characterized by its significant demographic presence.

According to the 2024 census, the city has a population of 624,787 people. This makes Bacolod the most populous city in the Negros Island Region and the second most populous city in the entire Visayas region, following Cebu City.
