Baao, officially known as the Municipality of Baao, is a municipality located in the province of Camarines Sur in the Philippines. It serves as a local administrative division within the region.
According to the 2024 census, the municipality has a population of 61,357 people. Historical records from the 1818 Spanish census indicate that the area was inhabited by 1,538 native families and 57 Spanish-Filipino families.
