Kundiawa is the capital city of Simbu Province in Papua New Guinea. It serves as a regional hub with a population of approximately 8,147 residents.

The city is situated along the Highlands Highway, positioned roughly halfway between the provincial capitals of Goroka and Mount Hagen. These neighboring cities serve as the seats of the Eastern Highlands and Western Highlands provinces, respectively.
