Uturoa is a commune located on the island of Ra'iātea in French Polynesia. It is situated within the South Pacific Ocean and serves as a key location on the largest island of the Îles Sous le Vent. The commune is positioned between the administrative subdivision of Leeward Islands and the main port of Ra'iātea.
The settlement is located approximately 120 miles (193.121 km) northwest of Pape'ete, which is the capital of French Polynesia. According to the 2022 census, Uturoa has a population of 3,663 residents.
