Zarumilla is a city located in the Tumbes Region in northwestern Peru. It serves as the capital of the Zarumilla Province and functions as the primary settlement within the Zarumilla District.
As of 2019, the city had a population of 54,625. It is situated near the border with Ecuador, located only a few kilometers from the town of Aguas Verdes, which is linked to the neighboring country by a bridge.
