Huacho is a city in Peru that serves as the capital of both the Huaura Province and the Lima Region. It is situated approximately 148 kilometers north of the city of Lima at an elevation of 223 feet above sea level.
As the most populated city in the Lima Region and Norte Chico, Huacho is located along the Pan-American Highway. The city is positioned near the Lachay National Reserve, providing the area with extensive vegetation and diverse wildlife.
