Ciudad Satélite is a residential area located in the municipality of Naucalpan, situated in the western part of Greater Mexico City. It is positioned approximately 14 km northwest of the Historic Mexico City Center. The neighborhood was founded around 1957 and serves as a middle-, upper-middle, and upper-class residential zone.
The area has been modeled after urban developments in the United States and England. Due to its significant economic and social influence, Ciudad Satélite is often grouped with the adjacent municipalities of Atizapán de Zaragoza and Tlalnepantla de Baz under the collective name "Satélite."
