San Cristóbal de La Laguna is a city and municipality located in the northern part of the island of Tenerife. It is situated within the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife on the Canary Islands, Spain.
The city served as the former capital of the Canary Islands and remains one of the most significant urban centers in the archipelago. It currently ranks as the third-most populous city in the Canary Islands and the second-most populous city on the island of Tenerife.
