Burunga is a province located in Burundi. It is the largest of the country's five provinces by land area, covering a total of 6,206 square kilometres (approximately 2,396 square miles).
According to the 2024 Burundian census, the province recorded a population of 2,118,551. The capital city of the province is Makamba, while Rumonge serves as its largest town, which reported a population of 35,931 in the 2008 census.
