Viguí is a corregimiento located in the Las Palmas District within the Veraguas Province of Panama. It serves as a rural administrative division characterized by its small community size.
The area was officially established through a series of legislative measures, beginning with Law 10 on March 7, 1997. This initial creation was further complemented by Law 5 on January 19, 1998, and Law 69 on October 28, 1998.
Demographic data indicates that the population of Viguí was 929 as of the year 2000. By the 2010 census, the population had increased to 964 residents.
