Santiago de Veraguas is the capital city of the province of Veraguas in the Republic of Panama. It serves as both a provincial capital and a district municipality of the same name.
Located in a rural area adjacent to the Pan American Highway, the city is bounded by the San Francisco District to the north, the Montijo District to the south, the Atalaya District to the east, and the La Mesa District to the west. As of the 2014 census, the population of Santiago de Veraguas was approximately 60,000 inhabitants.
