Ponuga is a corregimiento located in the Santiago District of the Veraguas Province in Panama. It serves as a local administrative division within the country's interior regions.
As of the 2010 census, Ponuga had a population of 2,799 residents. Historical demographic data shows that the population was 3,369 in 1990 and decreased to 3,096 by the year 2000.
