Panama

Metetí is a town and corregimiento located in the Pinogana District of Panama's Darién Province. Established by Law 58 on July 29, 1998, following the Declaration of Unconstitutionality of Law 1 of 1982, the town had a recorded population of 7,976 as of 2010.

The settlement serves as the final major town along the Inter-American Highway before it terminates at Yaviza. A significant portion of the local population originated from Chiriquí Province. Basic infrastructure in the town includes a bank with an ATM, several restaurants and hotels, a police station, and a gas station.
