Cucunatí is a corregimiento located in the Chepigana District of Panama's Darién Province. It was officially established by Law 58 on July 29, 1998, following the Declaration of Unconstitutionality of Law 1 of 1982.
The area has seen modest population growth over recent decades. According to census data, the population was recorded at 1,105 in the year 2000 and increased to 1,346 by 2010.
