El Copé is a corregimiento, or subdistrict, located in the Olá District of Panama's Coclé Province. It covers a total land area of 76.7 square kilometres (29.6 sq mi).
The population of El Copé has shown steady growth over recent decades, rising from 1,081 in 1990 to 1,263 in 2000. As of the 2010 census, the population was recorded at 1,425, resulting in a population density of approximately 18.6 inhabitants per square kilometre (48/sq mi).
