Veladero is a corregimiento located in the Tolé District within the Chiriquí Province of Panama. It was officially established by Law 10 on March 7, 1997, with subsequent legislative measures provided by Law 5 on January 19, 1998, and Law 69 on October 28, 1998.
The area covers a total land size of 51.1 square kilometres (19.7 sq mi). According to data from 2010, the population was recorded at 1,727 residents, resulting in a population density of approximately 33.8 inhabitants per square kilometre (88/sq mi). For comparison, the population was reported as 1,575 during the year 2000.
