Río Sereno, also known as Sereno, is a town and corregimiento located in the Renacimiento District of Panama's Chiriquí Province. Situated near the border with Costa Rica, it serves as the seat of the Renacimiento District.
The area covers a landmass of 83.2 square kilometres (32.1 sq mi). As of the 2010 census, Río Sereno had a population of 5,463 residents, resulting in a population density of approximately 65.7 inhabitants per square kilometre (170/sq mi).
