Paja de Sombrero is a corregimiento located in the Gualaca District within the Chiriquí Province of Panama. It covers a total land area of 62.7 square kilometres (24.2 sq mi).
The region has a low population density of approximately 10.4 inhabitants per square kilometre (27/sq mi). According to census data, the population was recorded at 653 in 2010, following previous counts of 670 in 1990 and 637 in 2000.
