Cerro Viejo is a corregimiento located in the Tolé District of the Chiriquí Province in Panama. It covers a total land area of 59.5 square kilometres (23.0 sq mi).
The region has experienced population fluctuations over recent decades. As of 1990, the population was recorded at 2,923, which decreased to 1,709 by the year 2000. By 2010, the population reached 1,768, resulting in a population density of approximately 29.7 inhabitants per square kilometre (77/sq mi).
