Punta Laurel is a town and corregimiento located in the Bocas del Toro District of the Bocas del Toro Province in Panama. It covers a total land area of 71.9 square kilometres (27.8 sq mi).
The population of Punta Laurel has seen steady growth over recent decades, rising from 692 in 1990 to 966 in 2000. As of the 2010 census, the town had a population of 1,730, resulting in a population density of approximately 24 inhabitants per square kilometre (62/sq mi).
