Cauchero is a corregimiento located in the Bocas del Toro District within the Bocas del Toro Province of Panama. It was officially established by Law 10 on March 7, 1997, with subsequent legislative measures provided by Law 5 in January 1998 and Law 69 in October 1998.
The area covers a total land size of 140.6 square kilometres (54.3 sq mi). According to census data from 2010, the corregimiento had a population of 2,424 residents, resulting in a population density of approximately 17.2 inhabitants per square kilometre.
