Al Buraymi is an oasis city and a wilayah (province) located in northern Oman. It serves as the capital of the Al Buraimi Governorate and is situated approximately 343 km from the national capital, Muscat.
The city is positioned on the border with the United Arab Emirates, specifically bordering the UAE city of Al Ain. It is also bordered by the wilayas of Mahdah and Dhank within Oman.
