Alofi

Niue

Alofi is the capital city of the island nation of Niue. It serves as the primary administrative center for the country and consists of two distinct villages: Alofi North and Alofi South.

As of 2022, the city had a population of 610 people, making it the second-smallest national capital in the world by population. While both villages collectively function as the capital, Alofi South contains a higher concentration of government buildings following their relocation to the southern area after Cyclone Heta.
