Menen is a city and municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. It is situated on the border between Belgium and France. The municipality consists of the city of Menen proper along with the towns of Lauwe and Rekkem.
As of January 1, 2006, the total population of the municipality was 32,413. The area covers a total of 33.07 km², resulting in a population density of approximately 980 inhabitants per km².
