Tikapur is a municipality located in the Kailali District within the Sudurpashchim Province of Nepal. The municipality was originally established in January 1997 and serves as a local administrative center in the region.
The geographical boundaries of Tikapur were expanded on March 10, 2017, following a merger with the former Village Development Committees of Narayanpur and Dansinhapur. The municipality is situated along the banks of the Karnali River.
