Gulariya is a municipality located in the south-western region of Nepal. It serves as the headquarters for the Bardiya District within the Lumbini Province.
Situated in the plains of the Terai region, the city is positioned near the southern border with the Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh, India. Geographically, it lies approximately 35 kilometers west of Nepalgunj and about 10 kilometers north of the Murtiha Transit or railway station in India.
