Lamjung District is a district located in the Gandaki Province of Nepal. Situated in the mid-hills of the country, it covers an area of 1,692 square kilometres (653 sq mi) and serves as a geographical midpoint for the nation. The district spans various geo-ecological belts ranging from tropical to trans-Himalayan regions.

The administrative headquarters of Lamjung District is Besisahar. As of the 2011 census, the district had a population of 167,724. The region is characterized by mixed habitation of various castes and ethnicities, notably hosting what is likely the highest density of the Gurung ethnic population in Nepal.
