Ramechhap Municipality is a local government unit located in the Ramechhap District within the Bagmati Province of Nepal. The municipality was officially established on December 2, 2014, following the merger of three former village development committees: Old-Ramechhap, Okhreni, and Sukajor.
According to data from the 2011 Nepal census, the area had a population of 28,612 people residing in 6,126 individual households. The municipality serves as a primary administrative and residential hub within its district.
