Vikoyri

Vikøyri is the administrative center of Vik Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The village is situated at the mouth of the Vikja river on the south shore of the Sognefjorden, positioned near the midpoint of Norway's longest fjord.

The village lies along Norwegian National Road 13, which connects north to a ferry for Balestrand and south toward the village of Vossevangen. Covering an area of 1.34 square kilometres (330 acres), Vikøyri has a population of 1,230 as of 2025, resulting in a population density of 918 inhabitants per square kilometre.
