Sogndalsfjøra, also known as Sogndal, is a large village situated in the Sogndal Municipality within Vestland county, Norway. It is geographically positioned at the point where the river Sogndalselvi flows into the Sogndalsfjorden, which serves as a branch of the Sognefjorden.
The village is located approximately 3.5 kilometres northwest of Kjørnes and about 10 kilometres northwest of Kaupanger. It sits roughly 31 kilometres southeast of Fjærland. The area serves as a transportation hub, situated at the intersection of Norwegian National Road 5 and Norwegian County Road 55.
