Sandane is a city located in Norway, serving as the administrative centre of Gloppen Municipality within Vestland county. It is situated at the end of the Gloppefjorden along the European route E39 highway. The town is positioned approximately 20 kilometres south of Nordfjordeid and about 16 kilometres west of Byrkjelo.
The surrounding area includes several suburban regions, such as Sørstranda to the west and Vereide to the northwest. Additionally, Sandane Airport, Anda, is located roughly 10 kilometres northwest of the city along the E39 highway.
