Lærdalsøyri is a village and the administrative centre of Lærdal Municipality, situated in Vestland county, Norway. It is positioned along the Lærdalselvi river at the point where it empties into the Lærdalsfjorden, which serves as a branch of the main Sognefjorden.
The village is located approximately 4 kilometres north of Tønjum at the eastern end of the Lærdal Tunnel on the European route E16 highway. It sits roughly 25 kilometres northwest of Borgund and is situated about 15 kilometres across the fjord from Kaupanger in Sogndal Municipality. Hauge Church, which serves as the main church for the parish, is located within the village.
