Hardbakke is a village located in Vestland county, Norway. It serves as the administrative center for Solund Municipality. The settlement is situated on the west side of the island of Sula, positioned across the strait from the island of Steinsundøyna.
Geographically, Hardbakke is located approximately halfway between the islet of Holmebåen and the village of Losnegard, which represent the western and easternmost points of the municipality. The village provides local infrastructure including an elementary school, a secondary school, and Solund Church.
