Årdalstangen is the administrative center of Årdal Municipality, located in Vestland county, Norway. It serves as one of the two primary population centers within the municipality, the other being the village of Øvre Årdal.
The village covers an area of 1.18 square kilometres (290 acres). As of 2025, it has a population of 1,397 residents, resulting in a population density of approximately 1,184 inhabitants per square kilometre.
