Skarnes is a village and the administrative centre of Sør-Odal Municipality, located in the Innlandet county of Norway. It is situated along the river Glomma, positioned approximately halfway between the villages of Disenå and Sander.
The village serves as a local hub for municipal services, notably housing the new Sør-Odal municipal hall. Construction on this facility was completed in 2010.
