Jaren is a city and village located in Norway. It serves as the administrative centre for Gran Municipality within Innlandet county.
The village is situated approximately 55 kilometres northwest of Oslo, the capital city of Norway. It is positioned near several other local settlements, including Brandbu to the northwest, and Ringstad and Gran to the southeast. The lake Randsfjorden is located about 7 kilometres west of the village.
