Elverum is a municipality located in the Innlandet County of Norway. It is situated within the traditional district of Østerdalen and serves as an important geographical crossroads, positioned between the town of Hamar to the west, the town of Kongsvinger to the south, and the village of Innbygda and the Swedish border to the northeast.
The administrative center of the municipality is the town of Elverum. Other notable settlements within the municipality include the villages of Heradsbygd, Sørskogbygda, and Neverlia.
