Bergset is a village and the administrative centre of Rendalen Municipality, located in the Innlandet county of Norway. It is situated on the western shore of the river Renaelva within the predominantly rural Østerdalen valley.
The settlement is positioned approximately 15 kilometres north of the village of Otnes. As the municipal seat, it serves as a primary administrative hub for the surrounding region.
