Malm is a village located in Steinkjer Municipality within the Trøndelag county of Norway. It is situated along the Beitstadsundet strait, which flows into the Trondheimsfjorden. The village of Bartnes is positioned directly across the strait from Malm.
The village is located approximately 32 kilometres northwest of the town of Steinkjer and about 12 kilometres northwest of Follafoss. It sits roughly 20 kilometres south of Namdalseid. Norwegian County Road 720 passes through the village.
