Leknes is a town located in the Vestvågøy Municipality within the Nordland county of Norway. It serves as the administrative centre for the municipality and was officially designated as a town in 2002.
The town covers an area of approximately 2.7 square kilometres (670 acres). As of 2023, Leknes has a population of 3,763 residents, resulting in a population density of 1,394 inhabitants per square kilometre.
