Hommelvik is a village and the administrative centre of Malvik Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is situated at the end of Hommelvika, which is a bay located off of the Trondheimsfjord.
The village's name is derived from the river Homla, which flows north through the area before emptying into the fjord. Geographically, it is positioned approximately 2.5 kilometres southwest of Muruvika, 4 kilometres southeast of Smiskaret, 8 kilometres east of Vikhammer, and 10 kilometres north of Sneisen.
